Hello! My name is Brandi Buffkin. I am originally from Beaumont, MS. I now live in Oak Grove. I have been married since 1993 to Jasper Buffkin. We have one child, a daughter, Savanna Buffkin, who attends Oak Grove High School.

My cheer expierence goes back to my Jr. High days. I cheered six years for my jr. high and high school squad. In 1991 I won the honor of UCA All-star Cheerleader to represent my high school at the New Years Day parade in London.

After high school I made the JCJC cheerleading squad. After deciding to get married, I move to California. In 1993, I began teaching gymnastics.

I have taught gymnastics for the past 17 years. I taught 10 years at Jo Carlisle’s School of Dance and Gymnastics in Oak Grove and Petal. I have been teaching in Sumrall, Ms for the past four years. I have a coached 3^rd, & 4^th grade cheer squads from Sumrall and Petal. This year I choreographed the Sumrall Jr High cheer squad’s routine for the regional cheer competition.

I have a degree in computers, from JCJC. I am certified in youth fitness and have been a fitness trainer for the past 4 years. I have worked in local day cares with an exercise program for the little ones and local gyms, as a trainer. I am also a national fitness competitor. I placed 4^th in the team universe fitness competition, in New York City.

I opened Southern Pride Cheer Academy in May 2008. Since then we have grown so much! We just made a huge move to Olympic Warrior Gymnastics Academy, in Oak Grove. We now have the greatest training facility in Mississippi to train at. We are so excited and thankful to everyone at owga for their support!
